Gloov, a beauty reels production platform, held a 1,000-person seminar at the InterContinental Seoul on Dec. 9 to celebrate its first anniversary. Attendees included major beauty companies (Amorepacific, LG Household & Health Care, Clio) and venture capitalists. Speakers shared strategies on brand growth, gift service marketing, long-term survival in a competitive beauty market, and using Instagram ads to boost sales. Gloov said it leads Korea’s beauty reels production space, has contracts with over 1,500 brands, operates in Korea and Japan, raised 3 billion KRW in Series A funding, and plans to expand to the U.S. early next year to partner with local beauty brands.
