The Korean Youth Choir, originally formed in 2011 from a KBS variety show, has transformed into an active private choir. They have been recognized for their performances, including winning the mixed senior category at the 2024 World Choir Competition in New Zealand. This year, they plan to hold concerts in Turkey and Greece to honor Korean War veterans, promoting the image of Korea as a grateful nation. The choir faces financial challenges, as the project requires significant funding, estimated at 3 billion won ($2.65 million) for the tour, and is seeking support from benefactors.
