Seoul Debuts Luxury Tourism Booth at ILTM Cannes, Holds 349 Business Meetings

Seoul made its first appearance at the 2025 ILTM Cannes luxury travel fair (in Cannes, France) from June 1–4, opening a Seoul promotional booth that completed all pre-booked meetings and conducted 349 business consultations. Buyers showed strong interest in Seoul’s luxury offerings, especially K-beauty (K-뷰티), K-content (K콘텐츠), traditional culture such as hanok (traditional Korean houses), temples, and artisan workshops, as well as local gourmet experiences. Demand was also notable for high-end hotel and accommodation products emphasizing local experiences and top-tier service. Seoul plans to analyze preferences by generation and country to develop tailored, high-value premium packages targeting diverse segments—families with teenage children, high-income travelers aged 50+, and solo travelers—beyond standard group tours. The city aims to further develop and promote Seoul’s premium tourism content to global visitors.
