Chungnam Foundation Turns Donations into Art with 'Culture-CF' Campaign

Chungnam Culture & Tourism Foundation held a ‘Culture-CF Sponsorship Day’ to showcase how donations and arts have combined to build a local cultural ecosystem. The foundation was named an outstanding organization in a national ‘Arts and Corporate Co-growth’ program, receiving a 10 million KRW prize. This year the foundation raised 530 million KRW and presented how these funds supported regional arts groups and creators. Two local companies were awarded for exemplary arts support: Hyundai Transys partnered with a welfare NGO on an art exhibition for people with developmental disabilities, and Seosan Seongsim Clinic backed the Euterpe Ensemble concert. The event highlighted the foundation’s Culture-CF models — membership, a young-artist award, crowdfunding-linked creation funding, and educational programs — and celebrated its certification as a government-recognized arts sponsorship intermediary. Officials said the goal is a self-sustaining Chungnam-style donation-to-arts cycle where funding reaches artists and their work returns value to the community.
