Seoul Museum of Art opens the Han Un-seong collection donation exhibition "Between Image & Reality" at its Seosomun Main Building from Dec 9 to Mar 22. The show centers on 195 prints donated by the artist in 2023 and presents 122 works including holdings and digital drawings. Organized in five sections—early works; doors, supports and knots; architectural structures and space; traffic lights; fruits, flowers and digital drawings—the exhibition traces Han’s half-century investigation of the relationship between image and reality. Highlights include the 1974 "Giant" series, the award-winning print Door I (1980), urban-space prints like Stair (1973) and Subway Entrance (1979), the symbolic Traffic Lights series, and recent iPad-based digital drawings that expand print reproducibility. An artist talk is scheduled (details on the museum website). Admission requires no reservation, and audio guides are available via the museum’s docent app.
