HiteJinro promoted Jang In-seop to executive vice president and nominated him as the new CEO in its 2026 executive reshuffle, marking the first change in the company’s top post in 14 years. The century-old (100-year) company aims to overcome a stagnant domestic liquor market and expand overseas by forming a refreshed leadership team focused on future growth. The personnel changes include four new executives across management, sales, and production. The new CEO will be formally elected by the board after a special shareholders’ meeting on the 30th, where Jang In-seop and Baek Myung-gyu are expected to be appointed as inside directors. HiteJinro plans further organizational restructuring to strengthen stability and pursue global growth.
