The 2025 Chuncheon–Jeonju Art Association Exchange Exhibition, co-hosted by the Korean Art Association (Chuncheon and Jeonju branches), runs Dec 5–11 at Jeonju’s Gugak Center (Korean Sori Culture Hall). Organized alongside the 31st Korean Art Association Jeonju Branch members’ show, the event aims to foster exchange and mutual growth among regional artists. Twenty-five Chuncheon artists—including elder figures Ku Ja-geun, Kim Kwang-nam, and Park Bok-gyun—exhibited, with 20 participating onsite. A cultural tour program led artists to local sites like Jeonju Hanok Village and the Jeonju Gyeonggijeon (royal shrine), expanding artistic connections. Dec 5 was designated “Jeonju–Wanju Artists’ Day” and featured booth exhibitions by three representative artists aged in their 50s, 60s, and 70s, plus an auction of collectible works to add festive diversity. Organizers say the exchange will share regional artistic identity and promote collaborative, socially engaged art practice. (Korean Sori Culture Hall: Korean name for the venue)
