Lotte Department Store said its Jamsil branch and main Myeongdong store, anchored by a 'Lotte Town' strategy, surpassed combined annual sales of 5 trillion won for the second consecutive year. Jamsil reached nearly 3.3 trillion won in sales through targeted renovations across its main building, Avenuel (a luxury shopping wing) and Lotte World Mall, attracting large SPA (specialty store retailer of private label apparel) brands and trendy labels favored by younger shoppers. Avenuel upgraded luxury boutiques like Chanel and expanded high-end watches and jewelry. The main building added a K-fashion concept hall called Kinetic Ground (1,500 pyeong) to attract global 2030 customers and broadened running apparel offerings. In Myeongdong, the flagship topped 2 trillion won after adding high-jewelry and high-end watch brands, boosting watch and jewelry sales more than twofold. CEO Jeong Hyun-seok said the company is entering a 'new renaissance' by leveraging affiliate synergies and community collaboration to delight customers.
