The 2025 World AeroPress Championship (WAC), the world’s largest AeroPress brewing competition, took place on Dec. 5–6 at Layers Studio 41 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. About 70 countries’ brewers competed using only the AeroPress device to brew a cup within five minutes, with winners decided by blind tasting. The event featured interactive zones such as a ‘Roasters Village’ and ‘Bakers Lane’ showcasing Seoul bakeries, attracting global coffee fans. AeroPress CEO Gerard Meyer introduced a new model, the ‘AeroPress Premium,’ at the venue, and local importer Café Museeau ran demos and tastings highlighting the product’s improved flavor transfer and steel-based durability. Café Museeau is offering a promotional discount on the AeroPress Premium and other items through Dec. 8 on its official website.
