Burger King Brings 'Whopper Truck' to Rural School for Warm Year-End Giving

Burger King visited Songcheon Branch of Sudong Elementary School in Namyangju on Dec. 3 as part of its ESG campaign “Going with You,” debuting a community-focused “Whopper Truck.” The mobile kitchen served bulgogi Whopper sets to about 150 students, staff and parents at the small school (around 50 students) in a remote area, and also gave out sock gift sets. The event aimed to give children who rarely can visit city restaurants a special experience; it was the first time the Whopper Truck took part in a social contribution activity rather than a festival. School leaders and students expressed gratitude and joy, and Burger King said it will continue using the truck for local community sharing under the campaign.
