Seoul National Children's Hospital hosts the third 'Miracle Audition' showcase on Dec. 8 at City Hall, featuring 77 artists with developmental disabilities from its Rainbow Arts Center. Participants, trained through the center’s therapy and education programs, perform vocals, instruments, dance and more. A panel including singer Kim Jae-joong (김재중) — serving as lead mentor for three years — musical actors Bae Da-hae and Choi Yoo-ra will judge the first half, where contestants compete and receive feedback on musicality, stage manners and emotional expression. The second half debuts four artists officially launched by the Rainbow Arts Center through its entertainment program: violinist Gong Min-bae (concertmaster of the Seoul Byeolbyeol Harmonia Orchestra), pianist Lee Sang-woo, vocalist Shin Soo-jin, and a traditional Korean music (gugak) specialist. Hospital director Nam Min emphasized the center’s role in discovering talents and nurturing dreams beyond medical care.
