Homeplus says reduced supplier support and falling sales are intensifying liquidity pressure; it is reconsidering closures of some stores it had kept open and must find a new buyer by the end of the month to meet a filing deadline tied to its turnaround plan. The company’s court-supervised rehabilitation deadline (법정관리 기한) is March 3, 2026, making a successful resale a key factor in its recovery.
