‘Echoes of Korea’ Wins Two Awards at 2025 Korea Advertising Awards

Korea Tourism Organization’s campaign “Echoes of Korea” won silver in print and bronze in film craft at the 2025 Korea Advertising Awards, a top domestic advertising contest that received about 2,000 entries. The campaign features two videos and four print ads highlighting regional charms: the Gyeongsang piece uses dynamic geomungo (a traditional Korean zither) music and a sword dance to convey energetic local spirit, while the Jeolla piece depicts the lyrical beauty of the region through seungmu (a traditional Korean dance inspired by butterflies). The campaign was shown internationally in cities like New York and London and at the 2025 APEC summit venues, and its videos have amassed about 120 million views since August. KTO said it will continue global campaigns to inspire foreign travelers to visit Korea.
