Gususan Library in Daegu Hosts Year-end 'Neighborhood Stories' Book Café Event

Daegu's Gususan Library (구수산도서관) will hold a year-end book café event titled "Neighborhood Stories Written Locally." Three local bookstores (책방공공, 여행자의 책, 나른한 책방) will exhibit books and run hands-on activities like themed writing and transcription starting Dec. 13. The program also includes a local author lecture for December, a picture-book exhibition by marriage migrant women, a picture-book reading paired with making 'bungeoppang' (fish-shaped pastry) hand warmers, a glittering Christmas wreath workshop, and a tarot session to preview life in 2026. The library says the initiative aims to strengthen the book café’s role as a multifunctional cultural space.
