LF's Kim Sang-gyun and Andar's Gong Seong-a Receive Korea Fashion Awards Presidential Citation

At the 2024 Korea Fashion Awards held in Seoul, LF CEO Kim Sang-gyun and Andar CEO Gong Seong-a received the top honor, the Presidential Citation, for boosting K-fashion’s global competitiveness and elevating the K-athleisure (everyday sportswear) sector. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Fashion Association honored 13 industry contributors and awarded four emerging designers from the 'K-Fashion Audition' contest. The grand prize (Presidential Award) went to Kwon Bong-seok of BLR, chosen from a 101:1 competition for his distinct brand identity and global potential. All finalists will receive access to next year’s brand support programs and business vouchers totaling 82 million won to help international expansion. The ministry said it will continue multi-faceted support leveraging Korea’s textile technology and design strengths to boost K-fashion globally.
