Ottogi Revamps 'Jin Jjamppong' for 10th Anniversary

Ottogi has relaunched its popular instant noodle Jin Jjamppong to mark its 10th anniversary, highlighting a richer smoky (bul-mat, 불맛) flavor and enhanced seafood notes. The product’s oil seasoning (yuseong soup, 유성스프) was strengthened to deepen the charred-wok aroma, and the soup’s spicy and savory profile was intensified to meet demand for bolder broths. Packaging was redesigned to emphasize the “deep smoky flavor” message and now includes English labeling to improve accessibility for foreign tourists. The renewed product will roll out across retail channels and Ottogi’s online store will offer a limited run of 1,000 freshly produced packs. Ottogi says the upgrade aims to continue innovation in the premium jjamppong instant noodle market.
