Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong is running a seasonal “Strawberry Festival” through March 31, offering a premium strawberry dessert buffet paired with a 3-course pairing dinner or a surf-and-turf style dinner buffet. The pairing dinner features seasonal sashimi (yellowtail ceviche) with apple and kumquat dust and a delicate Pinot Grigio, followed by truffle chestnut soup and beef tenderloin wrapped in smoked bacon with poached lobster paired with a Montepulciano red wine. Select dates (Dec 20, 24, 27) add roasted salmon with caviar beurre blanc and hallabong (a Korean citrus) sorbet. The all-day dining restaurant La Palette Paris presents a surf-and-turf dinner with table-served daily soup and lobster tail as premium appetizers; on special dates, additional appetizers include tuna belly, Osetra caviar, shrimp and sea urchin presented with dry-ice service. The strawberry dessert buffet features over 16 European-style strawberry treats—strawberry shortcake, Basque cheesecake, tiramisu, pavlova, tarts, mousse, macarons, basil eclairs, panna cotta, champagne strawberries, parfaits and more—plus chocolate fondue, marshmallows and various condiments for a festive spread. Festival hours are daily 6–8 PM, with the pairing dinner starting at 79,500 KRW per person.
