Lotte Cultural Foundation’s summer festival “Classic Revolution 2025” won the grand prize and the top classical award at the 12th Edaily Culture Awards held at Sejong Center (Sejong Center for the Performing Arts) in Seoul. The foundation, which launched the festival in 2020, has focused on popularizing classical music by presenting themed programs and inviting prominent domestic and international performers during the typically slow summer season. Representatives accepted the trophy and a 15 million won cash prize along with a Culture Ministry citation, thanking performers, staff, and audiences for their support. Judges praised the private foundation’s sustained commitment and efforts to advance the arts despite tough operating conditions. The foundation pledged to preserve the essence of classical music while bringing its emotional impact to more people.
