The opening ceremony of the 38th Imyoung Culture and Arts Festival exhibition was held on the 2nd at the Gangneung Art Center. Local dignitaries attended, including Kim Hwa-muk (head of the Gangneung Cultural Center), Choi Ik-soon (chair of the Gangneung City Council), Shim O-seop (provincial assembly member), and Choi Jin-hyuk (head of Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation, East Gangwon branch). The event showcased local cultural and artistic works as part of the annual festival celebrating regional heritage. (Gangneung is a coastal city in Gangwon Province.)
