Europe Essentials Campaign Reveals Desserts Showcasing French Cream

The EU-funded 'Europe Essentials' campaign by France’s national dairy board (CNIEL) concluded its three-year run by unveiling two desserts highlighting the flavor and texture of French cream. Made from high-quality milk and preserved with UHT processing, French cream lends a rich, silky mouthfeel. Chef Seon Hy e Je from 'Le Mont-Blanc' created a yarn-and-knit–themed mousse cake; both desserts use chocolate and combine raspberry and coffee mousses for balanced flavors. Launched in 2023 across four Asian markets (Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore), the campaign offered online content with Asian pastry chefs, hosted annual Pastry Challenges and the French Cream Pastry Chef contest (winners: Hong Mun-seop 2023, Jeong Se-rim 2024, Gil Ji-ho 2025), and ran cream workshops for students and professionals. The campaign will hold a thank-you giveaway on its Instagram 'CreamEssential' in December with French cream gift boxes and dessert vouchers.
