A special exhibition titled 'Childbirth, Everyone’s Feast' opened at the National Folk Museum in Jongno-gu, Seoul, showcasing the traditional spaces where births take place, known as 'sansil' (birth rooms). The show explores relationships formed through childbirth and related stories, displaying 328 items including a 백일 jeogori (a baby’s 100-day ceremonial jacket) and a father’s childcare diary. The exhibit sheds light on cultural practices and personal narratives surrounding birth in Korea.
