The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) said its 2025 HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) promotion campaign won the top prize in the policy brand category at the 3rd Korea Public Brand Awards. The award, hosted by the Korea Public Brand Promotion Institute and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, recognizes public brands that raise civic value through strategic outreach. Since its introduction in 1995, the HACCP system has been expanded into programs like Smart HACCP and Global HACCP and has become a key policy for improving food-safety awareness and strengthening global competitiveness. This year’s MFDS campaign used targeted, audience-specific content across official YouTube and other social media (SNS) channels to increase public familiarity and perceived impact. The agency said it will continue promoting HACCP as a leading food-safety brand that protects the nation’s table.
