As winter travelers decide whether to carry heavy down jackets (padding), Korean airlines offer convenient coatroom services at Incheon Airport. Korean Air and Asiana provide free coat storage for international passengers presenting boarding passes from Dec 1 to Feb 28, allowing one coat per person up to 5 days without charge (extra days cost a fee). Korean Air accepts coats at Terminal 2 (Hanjin delivery area) with pickup also available at Terminal 2 Hanjin store or by paid home delivery; Busan Gimhae passengers can use the airport’s baggage storage. Asiana serves Terminal 1’s CleanupAir (moving to Terminal 2 in January). Low-cost carriers like Eastar and Jin Air run paid coatrooms (Jin Air about 8,000 KRW for 3 nights).
Beyond coat storage, Incheon’s terminals offer traveler comforts: SPA ON AIR provides 24-hour saunas, showers and gender-specific and mixed sleeping rooms (shower 11,000 KRW for 2 hours; longer rest packages available). For those driving, Incheon separates short- and long-term parking—short-term costs ~24,000 KRW/day versus long-term ~9,000 KRW/day—so long-term parking is cheaper for multi-day trips; online parking reservations and official valet options are available.
