Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yoo-jung Wins Special Dance Award for Support of Korean Dance

Kang Yoo-jung, the presidential office spokesperson, will receive the 'Special Award' at the 2025 Korea Dance Awards in recognition of her contributions to the development of Korean dance, including helping enact the Dance Promotion Act and supporting the establishment of the National Dance Center (국립무용원). The award, given by the Korea Dance Association to individuals who have promoted dance and its popularization, will be presented at the ceremony on March 11 at Arko Arts Theater in Seoul. The event also features the final competition for the main awards, with Project S’s “Player” and LDP’s “Smile” competing; the winner will receive the Presidential Award and the runner-up will get the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism prize.
