SPC's Shake Shack Opens 4th Malaysia Outlet at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

SPC Group opened its fourth Shake Shack in Malaysia at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, a major shopping mall in Bukit Bintang, offering 160 seats and street-culture-inspired interior decorated with a large mural by Malaysian artist Kenji Chai. The location will feature exclusive menu items including the 'French Gourmet' burger with Béarnaise sauce and Swiss cheese, and two local dessert variations of Shake Shack’s signature 'concrete' (a vanilla custard mixed with toppings): 'Coco Baka' (coconut salted caramel, chocolate chunk shortbread and gula melaka made from coconut flower sugar) and 'Zest in the City' (lychee, raspberry, shortbread and lime zest), inspired by Bukit Bintang’s neon-scape. SPC, which secured Malaysian rights in 2022, aims to grow the brand’s 'fine-casual' concept and hospitality across Malaysia after earlier openings at KLIA Terminal 2; the group now operates 48 Shake Shack locations across Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.
