Seoul City has published the winter edition of its 'Seoul Festival Map,' listing cultural and arts events across the city from December to February. Highlights include the Seoul Winter Festa—featuring light and K-content performances and exhibitions across Gwanghwamun, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), and Cheonggyecheon (a restored urban stream)—and the "Seoul Light DDP 2025 Winter," a large-scale irregular media façade festival using DDP’s 222m exterior with character-branded media art, a DJ countdown, and fireworks. The Seoul Plaza ice rink (2025–2026) runs from Dec 18 to Feb 8 with figure shows, carols, and DJ parties. Other family-friendly events listed are dance and integrated arts festivals, the Seoul Asiteje Winter Festival, New Year’s bell-ringing at Bosingak, sunrise events at Inwangsan Cheongun Park and World Cup Park Sky Park, and traditional play and rice-cake (tteokguk) sharing at Unhyeongung in February. The map is available on the Seoul Culture Portal with navigation and sharing features. (DDP: Dongdaemun Design Plaza; tteokguk: traditional rice-cake soup)
