Seoul’s ACEL Art Company presents Kim Majo’s solo exhibition “THE INFINITESIMAL (무한소)” through January 17, 2026, showcasing about 20 paintings, sculptures and installations that probe the instant when form is not yet fixed. Kim, known for her concept of ‘mugakhyeong (무각형)’—literally ‘shape without corners’—rejects rigid geometric order to capture the subtle moment a shape is becoming. The show centers on three key series—“Mugakseom (무각섬),” “Beneficial Square (이로운 사각),” and “The Infinitesimal”—and blurs stillness and flow, material and immaterial. A floor installation titled “There Is No Lion in the Lion Garden” invites visitors to walk into the work, shifting perception from simply seeing to “reading with the body.” The exhibition spans ACEL Art Company and Gallery THREE, offering layered experiences that reconfigure how viewers interpret form. Kim Majo’s career spans painting and installation practices since her debut in 2003, continuing experimental work across concept and object.
