Blue Elephant, a Korean eyewear brand, opened a 1,000-pyeong (approx. 3,305 m²) megastore called Blue Elephant Space Seongsu in Seoul’s trendy Seongsu-dong. The centerpiece is a 12-meter-diameter spherical installation called the “Sphere,” spanning floors 1–3 and used for media art, live music, exhibitions, and a café. Floor 1 hosts performances against the Sphere’s lower surface; floor 2 offers curated exhibition space and the brand’s new sports eyewear line “Active”; floor 3 houses a café for shoppers to relax. The store stocks all three brand lines—Basic, Exclusive, and Active—some 700 styles, and features a limited five-piece “Seoul Edition” sold only at this location. Blue Elephant plans ongoing Sphere-based events and aims to make Space Seongsu a new neighborhood landmark as it expands domestically and internationally.
