Warehouse43 Holds 'Grill Mastership' to Elevate Premium Korean Beef Dining

Warehouse43, a premium Korean beef (hanwoo) dining brand, held an internal ‘Grill Mastership’ competition to certify employees’ grilling and service skills. The program, run twice yearly since late 2023, combines written theory tests on service and customer handling with practical exams conducted in real restaurant settings. Finalists demonstrated full service routines—customer greeting, grilling, cutting techniques, serving, and hygiene—during 15-minute evaluations. Judges scored taste, doneness, unique cutting (meat-pulling) skills, communication, and sanitation. Staff who score 90+ earn the ‘Grill Master’ title, a badge, certificate, and incentives; this season’s top scorer was Han Chung-hee from the Songdo location. Warehouse43 says the certification system aims to maintain and advance its standards for premium hanwoo dining and boost customer satisfaction as the brand continues to emphasize its identity and seasonal dining philosophy (‘three delights’: taste, enjoyment, beauty).
