On December 10 at 11:00 AM, Ayang Art Center will close its 'Brunch Concerts with the Humanities' series with a special program, 'Seeing the World through Physics,' featuring physicist Professor Kim Beom-jun. Kim, author of popular science books and host of the YouTube channel “Beomjun’s Physics” (범준에 물리다) with 230,000 subscribers, will give an accessible, entertaining lecture that explains everyday curiosities — from why the Y chromosome is absent in certain contexts, to why wetting a fingertip helps turn book pages, whether ChatGPT can truly think, and if the future is already determined — using perspectives from physics, biology, neuroscience, and AI. The talk aims to show how scientific thinking can enrich daily life. The event also features a professional vocal group, Musical BREEZE, whose warm, consoling performances will include hits like “One Day More” (from Les Misérables), “Dreamgirls” (from Dreamgirls), and “Raise You Up” (from Kinky Boots), blending scientific insight with artistic emotion. Tickets are 15,000 KRW; recommended for ages elementary school and up. Contact: 053-230-3316.
