High1 Resort Opens 25/26 Ski Season with New Experiences

High1 Resort officially opened its 2025/26 ski season, gradually launching 15 slopes (total 21 km) and a Snow World experience area. The first to open is the beginner-friendly Athena 3-1 slope and a sledding area by the Mountain Ski House. Slopes cater to beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers. Snow World offers non-ski activities including traditional family sleds, rafting sleds, and a new rafting boat; the retro ice-sled area now has transparent domes and outdoor windbreak walls for warmth and safety. To celebrate the opening, the resort runs promotions: lift tickets for 10,000 won and equipment rental for 20,000 won from the 28th–30th, then 50% off lifts and 20,000 won rentals from the 1st–5th. A December special offers students (suneung exam takers) discounted Water World and 4-hour lift passes for 10,000 won each. (suneung: Korea’s college entrance exam)
