Various Jazz Club (near Yeonho Station) is a large, light-filled space with about 250 seats and wide windows overlooking ginkgo trees; it hosts national and international artists and offers a relaxed, mixed drink–friendly atmosphere. Daecho Salon (in Gyodong) is a restored 1960s nightclub (daehonightclub) that keeps the retro charm and intimate vibe, featuring two-set shows and even a third set where audience members can request songs; its program often includes accessible jazz standards like "Blue Monk." Blue Chicago, a cozy jazz bar in the basement of Eldis Regent Hotel, has an antique interior popular with hotel guests and foreign visitors and runs regular weekend performances. Together these venues make jazz approachable to both newcomers and seasoned fans, blending history, atmosphere, and live improvisation across Daegu’s music scene.
