Senior Troupe Jeongdam to Stage Comedy 'Flower, You'

The senior theater troupe Jeongdam (情談) will present its 3rd regular performance, "Flower, You," on the 28th and 29th at Chuncheon Bomnae Theater. Founded in 2023, the troupe has gained sympathy and recognition by portraying elder life and won the top award at the 6th Korea Life Theater Festival last year. This new play humorously depicts grandmothers' everyday lives—love, breakups, conflicts, and attachments—using comedy with songs, dance, and even playful rap to keep audiences laughing. Troupe leader Jang Bok-han says the members once dreamed of Daehangno (a Seoul theater district) and now aim for Broadway, hoping their portrayals of elders' joys and sorrows resonate as both laughter and deep emotion.
