Korea’s Nuri Rocket Launches from Naro Space Center

South Korea’s homegrown Nuri rocket lifted off early on the 27th from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, Jeonnam. The fourth Nuri, produced under the technical oversight of private firm Hanwha Aerospace, carries 13 satellites for aurora and airglow observation and for measuring space magnetism and plasma. The launch marks another milestone in Korea’s growing domestic space program.
