[Performance News] BebeFin's Second Musical 'Exciting New Friend'

BebeFin, a popular Korean animated series that topped Netflix Kids charts in 11 countries, is getting a second stage musical titled 'BebeFin Musical: Exciting New Friend.' The show opens on December 19 at Yonsei University's Baekjoo Hall and runs through January 4. The story follows the BebeFin family as a new neighbor, Minji, moves into their town. The production promises spectacular visuals — including a giant cotton-candy machine and a bus-sized air balloon — and interactive elements where music and lighting change based on audience reactions, marketed as a 'fantasy experiential kids musical.'
Also featured: choreographer and artistic director An Eun-mi's new dance work 'Eastbound Future Express' will tour 15 cities overseas (including Germany, France and Australia) with 31 performances through March. The piece reinterprets various Asian cultures and has already sold out shows in Berlin and Paris after premiering at Sejong Center in May.
