The National Gugak Center's Museum of Korean Traditional Music has revamped its content and programs to offer immersive experiences using new technology. A notable new feature is 'Today, Meet the Rhythms', which uses high-definition videos of Joseon-era genre paintings (by artists such as Kim Hong-do and Shin Yun-bok) combined with live performance audio from the center to offer a multi-dimensional experience of daily life in the Joseon Dynasty. Interactive exhibits like 'Create Your Own Feast', 'Masters' Sounds', and 'QAI Docent' allow visitors to explore court instruments and listen to performances by renowned musicians. The museum also offers guided tours in English for foreigners every Saturday and special programs, such as instrument pop-up book making during summer holidays.
