Eumseong County Creates 'Ten-Li Cherry Blossom Path' in Saenggeuk-myeon

Eumseong County in Chungbuk has built the 'Ten-Li Cherry Blossom Path' along the Eungcheon (stream) embankment in Saenggeuk-myeon. The project includes LED nightscape lighting, rest areas and photo zones to enhance visitor experience. The project used 200 million won of the 700 million won budget from a resident participation budget (community participatory budget) to add local engagement. Officials expect the new path to help spread tourist visits beyond the peak spring cherry blossom festival period.
