Yongso/Naro Space Center update: South Korea’s Nuri rocket, built with technology transferred to private firm Hanwha Aerospace, stood on the launch pad in Goheung with 13 satellites onboard for aurora and upper-atmosphere observations and measurements of space magnetic fields and plasma. The Aerospace Administration and Korea Aerospace Research Institute announced at 00:11 on Nov. 27 that the rocket’s erecting (support) tower was fully retracted, clearing the pad for a scheduled launch around 01:00. (Naro Space Center is South Korea’s main launch site.)
