Starbucks Korea Extends Popular Fall Drinks after 10 Million Cups Sold

Starbucks Korea has extended sales of its fall seasonal drinks—the Black Glazed Latte ("Beulgla") and Matcha Glazed Latte ("Malgla")—until December 31 due to strong demand. Released on September 17 and originally set to end October 30, the pair had already been extended once and surpassed 10 million cumulative cups sold by mid-December, becoming signature hits. The drinks remain bestsellers even as Christmas beverages arrive: the Black Glazed Latte ranks second in overall menu sales after Caffè Americano and the Matcha Glazed Latte ranks fourth. Customers in their 20s–30s make up about 70% of buyers, and over 40% of Black Glazed Latte purchasers are repeat buyers. Starbucks says it will secure stable ingredient supplies to meet continuing demand.
