Sempio, through its research center Our Taste Research Center, joined the YouTube channel ‘Slow Aging with Jung Hee-won’ pop-up called the ‘Slow Aging Festival’ at Starfield COEX in Seoul through the 30th. The event is a concept pop-up village where visitors can learn and experience habits, diets and exercises to slow aging. Sempio showcased selected low-sugar, low-salt products that make healthy Korean cooking easier and tastier. Key items include Yeondu (plant-based cooking essence) for natural umami from fermented soy, light-brewed soy sauces that keep flavor with less salt, four low-sugar condiments (gochujang, ssamjang, cho-gochujang, mixed sauce) and three low-sugar meat marinades that reduce sugar up to 99% while preserving rich flavors—helpful for high-protein diets. On-site promotions include 50% off when buying two or more items and gifts like wheat-free brown rice noodles and ‘Yeondu Ring’ broth enhancers; an online sale on Naver Store runs through the 30th with up to 55% off curated low-sugar sets. Sempio also offers low-sugar beverage sets and will host a live cooking demo with editor Jang Eun-sil on the 28th. The company emphasizes making slow-aging cooking accessible, tasty and sustainable through friendly, innovative products.
