Korean food companies are launching health-focused products targeting year-end demand, emphasizing the “healthy pleasure” trend. Domino’s introduced a Cheese Bolognese with high-protein chicken noodles (about 13g protein, equivalent to two eggs) and earlier launched a high-protein, high-fiber dough with seven grains. The new side dish is especially popular with the 20s–30s demographic. Dongwon Home Food expanded its low-sugar, low-calorie Vivid Kitchen line with three allulose-sweetened low-sugar burritos (chicken chipotle, stir-fry gochujang, beef mala) using whole-wheat tortillas and cauliflower rice and providing 8g+ protein. Nongshim released Noodle Fit Shrimp Soup, a low-calorie (130 kcal), high-fiber instant noodle reflecting the low-calorie, high-fiber trend. Lotte Chilsung added natural lime flavor to Cider Zero Lime (a zero-sugar soda). Industry sources say zero-sugar and healthy-pleasure products will continue to grow as companies align offerings with consumer preferences.
