ZigZag, the style commerce platform operated by KakaoStyle, reported about 13 billion KRW (130억원) in sales on the first day of its ‘ZigJackpot Black Friday’ event. The promotion, running since November 17, discounts around 90,000 items across shopping malls, brand fashion, beauty, and life categories. First-day sales rose over 14% from last year and four-day cumulative sales are up about 20%, with daily sales consistently in the 10-billion-KRW range and the platform likely to reach 100 billion KRW sooner than last year. Brand fashion and life categories grew as much as 30% year-on-year, and live commerce boosted performance—about 20,000 viewers tuned into a La Room (라룸) live stream on day one. The sale runs through next month’s 1st and includes additional discounts, a daily 6 PM “Gather for Point Pot!” (모여라 포인트팟!) event, and more popular mall live broadcasts.
