Gijang Offers Free Stroller, Wheelchair and Crutch Rentals at Jwagwangcheon Garden

Gijang County in Busan has launched a free rental service at the Jwagwangcheon (Jwagwangcheon local garden) Visitor Center to improve mobility for garden visitors. Strollers, wheelchairs and crutches are stored at the Visitor Center in Witgol Park and can be borrowed after signing a form. The service runs weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with each loan limited to three hours. Staff check items for damage and cleanliness before and after use, and the county performs regular disinfection and cleaning to maintain hygiene. Mayor Jeong Jong-bok said the program aims to make the garden comfortable for children, seniors and people with mobility challenges and to develop Jwagwangcheon as a local garden culture hub.
