Islamic Art Exhibition Opens at National Museum of Korea

On the 21st, the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan, Seoul, held the opening of its new Islamic Gallery. Co-hosted with the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar, the exhibition titled “Islamic Art: A Radiant Journey of Light” presents 83 Islamic artworks, including early Quran manuscripts, on the museum’s 3rd-floor world cultures hall. The show runs from October 22 through October 11 next year, for about 11 months. (Quran: the central religious text of Islam)
