Juro Co., a traditional Korean liquor maker from Yesan, signed roughly $1 million in annual export contracts at the K-Vietnam POPUP FESTA in Đà Lạt. The company showcased JuroPop, a low-alcohol (3%) sparkling soju blended with Korean apple concentrate and yuzu juice, targeting Vietnam’s growing taste for Korean fruit soju. Juro operates a small neighborhood brewery producing rice-based makgeolli (traditional Korean rice wine) and plans to expand regional distribution with local partner DHI Group and other distributors. Exports are scheduled to begin in the first half of next year, and the firm aims to develop premium distilled spirits, low-alcohol drinks, liqueurs, and makgeolli tailored to Southeast Asian preferences.
