The ARKO Arts Council's residency showcase 'In Situ' runs at the ARKO Museum in Daehangno, Seoul through Jan 18. The exhibition presents works and creative processes by ten resident artists (from Korea, Japan, Finland, Vietnam, Poland, Mozambique and more) who participated in ARKO’s first and second residency cohorts. Rather than finished objects, the show emphasizes in-progress research, site-specific thinking and the lived experiences of the studio, bringing diagrams, drawings, installations, sound pieces and video that document observation and experimentation. Highlights include Yusuke Taninaka’s integration of East Asian traditional medicine with iPS cell regeneration concepts; a sound installation by Christian Schwarz revealing “stealth infrastructure” of urban cellular networks; video works about the piano’s social life in Korea; and reworked craft narratives from Mozambique. The museum also offers a "Talk with Artists" (작가와의 대화) program and a roundtable for residency operators next January. Admission is free; open Tue–Sun 11:00–19:00 at ARKO Museum in Marronnier Park, Daehangno.
