K-Swiss Returns to South Korea After 3-Year HiatusCreatrip Team
10 months ago
K-Swiss, a sport brand known for its tennis shoes, is relaunching in South Korea after a three-year departure. The brand plans to open its first store at Lotte Department Store in Busan next month, with aims to establish 7-8 stores by the end of the year. K-Swiss, which was initially launched in California in 1966, is focusing on positioning itself as a comprehensive sports brand in Korea, taking into account the declining trend in the tennis fashion market. The relaunch involves a joint venture with KP Global from China and BYN, the parent company of Black Yak, an outdoor brand in Korea. K-Swiss aims for a 80 billion KRW (approx. $60 million) revenue target in five years.
