Southernmost Mosulpo Yellowtail Festival Opens

The Mosulpo Yellowtail Festival opened on the morning of November 20 at Mosulpo Port in Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju. Participants held live yellowtail fish (방어, a popular Korean winter fish also called yellowtail amberjack) with their hands in a tank during the event, celebrating local seafood and community traditions. The festival highlights Jeju’s fishing culture and seasonal cuisine.
