Paradise City, the large art-entertainment resort in Incheon’s Yeongjongdo, is launching a new late-night EDM festival series called “CHROMA KEY” running from early December into next year. The series kicks off on Dec. 6 with global superstar DJ Steve Aoki as headliner and will hold another show on Dec. 27, with regular events planned for next year. Performances take place in CHROMA, Paradise City’s high-tech clubbing venue that can hold about 3,000 people, and shows run from 9 PM to 6 AM with tickets sold via KREAM. Paradise City has been positioning itself as a “mucance” (music + hotel vacation) hotspot after hosting major festivals and draws, including large-scale events that boosted room occupancy. Management says adding night-time EDM programming helps complete its “art-entertainment” offering and aims to strengthen cultural tourism in Korea.
