Olive Young plans to open its first U.S. store in Pasadena, California, in May next year. Targeting local MZ (Millennial + Gen Z) consumers, the store will sit in a fashion and beauty neighborhood near tech and research institutions with high-income residents. The location will act as a K-beauty showcase and platform connecting North American customers and Korean brands, offering products and experiential services based on data from Korean Olive Young stores and its global mall. Over 400 K-beauty brands and other global labels are being negotiated for inclusion. Olive Young aims to expand K-beauty awareness, help brands enter overseas markets, and evolve into a global beauty and wellness retail platform.
